Approval for 42 new dwellings in Coalisland

SOME 42 new dwelling houses are planned for Coalisland.
The houses will be built on land near the Roughan and Brackaville Roads near Newmills.
The application was made on behalf of Sean Devine Construction from Donaghmanagh, Strabane, with approval secured from the Department of the Environment.
Meanwhile plans to turn a coffee shop into a restaurant have also been approved.
The application, made by Yankee Star Restaurant, will see the existing coffee facility at Unit 4, Coalisland Enterprise Centre turned into a licensed restaurant.
Approval has also been given for a proposed domestic wind turbine and domestic store to facilitate a wood burner and timber supply at Mullaghmoyle Road near Coalisland. The application was made by the property holder and is being handled by McKeown and Shields agents.
