Galbally man faces Police assault charges

THE CASE of a man who faces three charges of assault on a police officer has been adjourned.
Desmond Oliver McVeigh, 32, from Beechline in Galbally is alleged to have assaulted the officers during an incident on April 3.
He is also charged with damaging the door handle of a police vehicle and being unfit to drive due to alcohol.
Before a sitting of the East Tyrone Court Magistrate, Mrs Bernadette Kelly adjourned the case until May 21.
