RESIDENTS of the Clogher Valley area have been warned by police to be on the look-out for a large cat-like animal which was spotted by an Aughnacloy man on Sunday evening.

The unidentified creature was seen on the Favour Royal Road at about 10pm.
Members of the public are asked to be vigilant and any sightings of the animal should be reported to the police.
It is believed to be the first appearance of the so-called 'border beast' for a number of years.
In the last decade there have been a series of unexplained sightings of wild animals or cat-like creatures in various parts of the Clogher Valley.
