Report commends hygiene at South Tyrone Hospital

Hygiene standards at the South Tyrone Hospital have been commended in a major new inspection report which looks at the state of our hospitals.
Unannounced visits were made to eight hospitals across Northern Ireland by a team which examined their cleanliness and basic hygiene.
The Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) visited the hospitals between May and September this year.
While problems were identified at the Ulster Hospital and three Belfast Hospitals, the South Tyrone in Dungannon was commended by the inspection team.
The report concluded that "good compliance" had been achieved in some areas inspected.
