LET'S hope their fellow pupils don't make their teachers blood pressure rocket like St Patrick's Academy McRory Cup team did yesterday (Monday) when they clinched the cup in a nail-biting finish, beating St Michael's Enniskillen 1-9 to 13 points.
In a performance brimming with passion, St Pat's scored two points in stoppage time to pull victory from the jaws of defeat.
For a good part of the game St Michael's seemed set to be schools' champions after building up a five point lead in the first half.
It was a victory savoured sweetly by fans at Omagh's Healy Park, which basked in glorious spring sunshine.
Academy pupils burst onto the pitch at the final whistle to embrace their heroes as the defeated players trudged off in disbelief.
The euphoria boosted St Patrick Day's celebrations throughout Dungannon, the town awash with the Academy colours of red and white.
Next up...the Hogan Cup.
