THESE are the spine-chilling photographs which prove that the Mullaghmoyle ghost really does exist, a Galbally woman has claimed.
The spectral visions were captured by Nicola McCrory at the ruined house that lies in a hollow outside Coalisland.
The ghoulish apparitions were snapped when Nicola, accompanied by three relatives, visited the ruin on Wednesday night.
"We crept through what had been the living-room and into a tiny adjoining room. It was there that we felt a sudden chill in the air", said Nicola, who has a keen interest in the supernatural.
"Unfortunatley there was that much noise from traffic passing up and down the road that we weren't able to hear any strange noises.
"The adrenalin was flowing because we definitely felt a presence there. However, we weren't frightened. After all the dead can't harm you."
Nicola's interest in the paranormal was sparked when she saw the ghost of an old woman walk out in front of her car at Lissan, Cookstown, a few years ago.
"Ever since then I've been following up stories of ghosts and carrying out my own investigations", she said.
Although she and her fellow ghost-hunters saw nothing on this occasion, they noticed several strange shapes appear when they downloaded the photographs onto a computer.
In two of the photographs the small face of what Nicola describes as a boy can be seen, as well as the outline of a woman against the wall.
Nicola said she is now convinced the house is haunted and wants to hold a seance with a professional medium to contact the spirit.
"I have found out the name of who the spirit might have been and want to help lay her to rest", she added.
"She will keep haunting the building until she is helped to the other side."
Nicola said she will be visiting the house with family members Sharon Goodwin, Donna McCrory and Teresa McCaughey at 'the witching hour' in the hope of contacting the ghost.
