Derrytresk 1-7 Errigal Ciaran Thirds 0-10
Derrytresk again emphasised what an improved side they are with a splendid result against an Errigal Ciaran Thirds team that has plenty of experience as well as loads of hunger and some youthful talent to boot.
The same could, indeed, be said about the home team, their determination never waning despite a real test of character being put to them by the Ballygawley visitors.
A superb goal towards the end of the first period, great play finished off with a
brilliant lob of the goalkeeper by Niall Gavin, sent the Fir an Chnoic to the dressing room with a slender lead, 1-3 to 0-5.
The visiting goalkeeper made a terrific save to deny Gavin a second strike, but the Derrytresk defence was living dangerously at times as well and they will be delighted that fullback Vivian Teague was in such good form.
In the second half they edged further in front but then fell behind as Errigal upped the ante and Joe McKee completed his hat-trick of late points with an equaliser four minutes into stoppage time, this necessary after a hamstring injury saw Errigal's Emmet O'Hanlon stretchered off.
Derrytresk scorers – Joe McKee 0-3, Niall Gervin 1-0, Ronan O'Neill 0-2, Kevin Quinn 0-1, Cathal O'Neill 0-1
Errigal Thirds scorers – Declan Quinn 0-2, Eamon McCaffrey 0-2, Rory McCann 0-2, Michael Harte 0-1, Emmet O'Hanlon 0-1, Stevie Quinn 0-1, Aidan McCullough 0-1

Brackaville 0-13 Strabane 2-18
A quick glance at the scoreline and you'd think this was a right ould hammering for the Brackaville lads. But the story behind the result paints a different picture, because this game was actually nip and tuck for most of the way.
The Owen Roes, incidentally, are best described as lads because injuries have decimated their experienced squad and they are currently being represented by enthusiastic young guns.
They did well, too, and reduced an interval disadvantage of 0-11 to 0-6 to just 0-13 to 0-11 at the end of the third quarter – with the destiny of the league points still very much in the melting pot.
But a goal at this juncture from Warner Mullan – who had fired over seven first half points – was to more or less kill off their gutsy challenge.
Mullan quickly added two further minor scores and then it was just a question of playing out time as the Sigersons rediscovered their form after the previous week's lapse just on the other side of Coalisland at the hands of improving Derrytresk.
The Roes kept going but failed to make the score more respectable when Ciarn Gervin's penalty was saved by James O'Reilly, Donal O'Neill doing a great job with the whistle on a day when Brackaville's scores notably came from play.
Brackaville scorers – Ciaran Currie 0-4, Paddy Gervin 0-2, Sean McNally 0-2, Mickey McGeary 0-1, Joe Rafferty 0-1, Collie Ferguson 0-1, Con Gervin 0-1, Conor Loughran 0-1
Strabane scorers – Warner Mullan 1-9, Chris Devine 1-2, John McLaughlin 0-2, Marty McNulty 0-1, Richard O'Neill 0-1, Ryan O'Kane 0-1, Stephen Stewart 0-1, JP Gallagher 0-1
Drumquin 1-13 Drumragh 1-10
A late flurry of scores from Drumquin was required to see off a determined challenge from Drumragh as they maintained their 100% start to the campaign and top position in Division Three.
Drumragh had impressed in the early stages but after scoring the opening three points of the game, they were under a sustained attack from Drumquin who scored 1-5 without reply, Pearse McGirr with the goal during a period when the post and crossbar came to the rescue of Sarsfields.
Early points stretched the lead to six in the second half but a goal from Paddy Gormley helped the visitors back into the tie and with ten minutes to go they levelled at 1-9 apiece.
But Drumquin aren't leaders for nothing and they finished well on top to claim a hard-fought three point win with a quarter of the season played.
Drumquin scorers – Ryan McCallion 0-5, Pearse McGirr 1-1, Eamon Teague 0-2, Paul McLaughlin 0-2, Ciaran Colton 0-1, Paul Sheridan 0-1, Justin Welsh 0-1
Drumragh scorers – James Keenan 0-4, Paddy Gormley 1-0, Marty Taggart 0-2, Gareth Haughey 0-2, Chris O'Doherty 0-1, Orlando Lagan 0-1,
Beragh 2-12 Augher 2-7
It was probably only a matter of time before Mickey Ward cut loose and made some team suffer and it so happens it was the St.Macartans who were on the receiving end as the former Dungannon Swifts forward blasted home two goals and accompanied them with four fine points.
Ward had the green flag raised early on, the Red Knights nicely in command with 1-3 on the board when a relieved Augher side got their first score. But it was worth waiting for in a way because it was a goal booted home by Francis McMeel.
Beragh tagged on three more points before the break, their total mainly via Ward and Marty Rodgers, Jamie Donnelly with two for the visitors and Finbar Daly got the other, leaving it 1-6 to 1-3.
The home team stretched the lead to five at 1-11 to 1-6, young Donnelly with those three for Augher, but Arthur Kelly gave the away team hope when he banged in their second goal top reduce the gap to just two. But Ward's second goal ended any hopes there were for Augher, Beragh getting the lift they so badly needed.
Beragh scorers – Mickey Ward 2-4, Martin Rodgers 0-4, Eddie Molloy 0-2, Sean McMahon 0-1, Niall Boyle 0-1
Augher scorers – Jamie Donnelly 0-6, Francis McMeel 1-0, Arthur Kelly 1-0, Fin Bar Daly 0-1

Clogher 1-8 Fintona 0-7
Clogher entered this game as favourites and they didn't disappoint, fully deserving their win when they hosted Fintona. But it could have been so very different had Stevie Monteith steered a
spot-kick away from Clogher keeper Paul McCaughey early in the first half after Dermot McGoldrick was pulled down in the goalmouth.
Despite that penalty miss, the visitors weren't far off the pace at the break, down by 0-5 to 0-3 with Malachy Donnelly hitting all three Fintona scores from dead-balls.
In the second half they were able to match their opponents but only in terms of quantity as each side hit four scores. But Clogher had a slightly better return, a goal ensuring a home win.
For Fintona, Malachy Donnelly doubled his first half tally to keep the game competitive but a goal from Stephen McCaffrey proved vital.
Clogher scorers - Paddy McKernan 0-4, Stephen McCaffrey 1-0, Ciaran Shields 0-2, Damien Connolly 0-1, Paul Tierney 0-1
Fintona scorers – Malachy Donnelly 0-6, Pauric Kelly 0-1

Castlederg 0-6 Glenelly 0-10
Glenelly got back to winning form after last week's mishap and were worthy winners against a Castlederg side still not firing on all cylinders yet.
Perhaps the key moment came early in the final quarter when Trillick referee Francie Gallagher awarded a penalty to the home side. But Tim Harney, county minor and Omagh CBS Hogan Cup winning goalkeeper thwarted the St.Eugenes comeback hopes by saving it twice, after encroachment, from Sean Harper.
The home goalkeeper earned his laurels in the first half when he denied Seamus Harkin when he burst through and looked certain to net.
It was a lowscoring first thirty minutes, the visiting team having Harkin mostly to thank for their 0-4 to 0-2 lead.
The St.Josephs didn't exactly control things throughout but they continued where they left off and always managed to keep their noses in front, Aidan Lynch and Peter McGarvey the only home players to raise a flag.
Castlederg scorers – Aidan Lynch 0-3, Peter McGarvey 0-3
Glenelly scorers – Seamus Harkin 0-4, Ronan O'Kane 0-3, Cathal Nicholas 0-1, Conal McCullagh 0-1, Seamus McBride 0-1

Dregish 0-13 Owen Roes 0-7
Owen Roes' poor start continued on Friday via a six-point reverse against a Dregish side also struggling, but happily showing some promise of late.
The visitors will point to a decimating injury list that left them without almost half of the side that opened the season against Clogher. This, coupled with the long-term absence of Declan McCrossan, forced them to supplement with young reserves.
It was one such player who them a bright start, Davy Harte with the opening pair of scores. The hosts pointed to take the initiative and, although Brendan Boggs levelled from a free, Dregish converted twice in succession - with a Harte score ending the half 0-4 to 0-5 to Dregish.
The Pearse Ogs won the game on the restart, with three successful placed kicks and one from play.
Brendan Boggs raided forward to raise a white flag, but Dregish kept plugging on and pointed twice either side of a Stephen Dooher point.
Kevin O'Neill landed a visiting score, but it was too little, and despite a late double yellow transgression for a Dregish forward they added two more scores to take the game at ease.
Dregish scorers - Christopher O'Kane 0-6, Peter McCrossan 0-2, Fergus McCrossan 0-1, Damien Caterson 0-1, Niall O'Kane 0-1, Martin Bonner 0-1, Mark Taggart 0-1
Owen Roes scorers - Davy Harte 0-3, Brendan Boggs 0-2, Stephen Dooher 0-1, Kevin O'Neill 0-1
