McCann wins best boxer award
At the Kinturk Community Centre on Friday night a boxing tournament was held in honour of Paddy Joe Quinn.
In the 60kg class Clonoe's Ronan McCann came away with the 'best boxer of the night' award when he outpointed Paul McFlynn from the Springhill A.B.C.
In another hard fought contest Pauric Hampsey outpointed Conor McInness from the Bishop Kelly A.B.C.
In the 81kg class Barry Dinsmore outpointed Chris Nelson Dungannon A.B.C.
Eoghan Hampsey and Michael Campbell gave a great exhibition of boxing in a no decision contest as did Shea Rankin and Bernaldo Marime.
