Meeke stays with Peugeot

Dungannon driver Kris Meeke is to defend his Intercontinental Rally Challenge in 2010 with the full support of Peugeot UK.
The news follows the disappointment of being excluded from the results of the season-ending Rally of Scotland.
The recently appointed MD of Peugeot UK John Goodman said it was an easy decision to go again with Meeke and his co-driver Paul Nagle; he just could not see any other combination as good as the impressive duo.
Once again the Peugeot UK entered 207 will be prepared by the Belgian Kronos Racing; they have been long-time supporters of the Ulster driver.
Meeke has revealed that he had an offer to switch to Skoda, but he feels that the way forward is to remain with Peugeot for what promises to be an even more competitive season than the one just past.
