Guilty plea to theft charge

A THIRTY year old Beragh man has pleaded guilty to theft and using a motor vehicle without insurance in East Tyrone Magistrates’ Court.

Jonathan Wilson, of Springwell Drive, Beragh appeared before the court in connection with an incident on August 29th this year.

Mr Wilson’s arrest came following a Renault Megan VRM vehicle valued at £3,300 was taken.

Wilson was also in court in conection with driving the vehicle without a motor insurance policy in the Magherafelt Road area of Moneymore.

Wilson pleaded guilty to the charges at the hearing and the court was adjourned until November 28th to allow for the compilation of a pre-sentence report.
