Mark your calendar for Hallowe’en Spooktacular!
DO you dare go to Dungannon’s Hallowe’en Spooktacular event this Friday, October 26?
You’d be frightfully silly not to as this year a monstrous fireworks display will take place in Market Square along with spooky entertainment!
Mayor, Councillor Pheilm Gildernew, is looking forward to getting into the spirit of things. He says:
“I would encourage families to dress up and get into the Hallowe’en spirit by availing of treat bags that will provide great discount offers being provided by local shops, visit the Haunted Tour at Ranfurly House and/or taking part in an art or storytelling workshop, and don’t forget to enjoy the live family fun entertainment by watching the spectacular fireworks display in Market Square.
“I look forward to seeing you at this great evening of fun filled family entertainment, another highlight in the Council’s annual calendar of events.”
From 6pm on Friday 26 October join Malachi Cush and enjoy ghastly games, mystifying music, freaky face painting, brilliant balloon modelling, lucky dip, mini-dance classes (every 10 minutes), and much more in the town centre.
The monstrous fireworks finale, sponsored by Newell Stores, will light up the sky above Castle Hill, from 7.30pm.
