Pensioner assaulted in Clogher

POLICE are keen to hear from anyone who heard a disturbance on the Crossowen Way area of Clogher on Friday night.

A man in his 80s sustained facial injuries as a result of the incident. Bank cards and a sum of money were stolen from him.

Police are keen to identify a man who was with the victim in a local public house earlier on Friday evening.
