A DUNGANNON man who pleaded guilty to using a mobile phone behind the wheel has been fined at court.

Michael Colton, 35, from Kindrum, also admitted to having no MOT during the same incident on Ranfurly Road on April 17.

His solictor told the court that his client completely admitted to the charges. He said that he had not been able to afford the work to prepare the car for MOT after being declared bankrupt.

District Judge John Meehan handed down fines totalling £150 and three penalty points.
