There was a packed house in the Craic Theatre, Coalisland on Thursday night for the launch of a book by local man Jackie O’Neill.
The book, ‘A Thought for Today’ includes thoughts for every day of the year was written to help guide readers through their lives.
Among those speaking at the launch were former Tyrone manager Art McRrory, his wife Helen, Aidan O’Neill and Tyrone Times editor Peter Bayne.
The author in his introduction asks that “As you read each of the sayings and sentiments, give them thought, an interpretation and an alternative one if possible.
“At the time of reading, it may be of no significance, at another time in your life depending on what is happening, you may take much greater value from it.”
The book includes many proverbs, sayings and poems to allow readers to take time out and reflect on their days and lives.
