Brocagh play facility

SINN Féin councillor Pádraig Quinn has held a number of meetings in relation to a potential play facility in the Brocagh area.

The meetings were held in order to assess possible locations for the park and come after a number of constituents highlighted the issue to the councillor.

The Torrent representative said, “The lack of play park provision within rural areas has been raised with local Sinn Féin councilors and MLA’s over the past number of weeks. Coming from the rural community I understand the need for greater enhancement and development of facilities and because of that I view this issue as a priority.

“On Wednesday the 11th, I organised a site meetings between council officials, land owners and torrent councilors at Castle Bay in Brocagh in order to assess potential play park locations.

“I am hopeful that following the meetings and following a recent review of play park provision by the council, this site will, in the near future; acquire approval for the development of new multi purpose play facility”.
