A meeting of the Dungannon Floral Society was held in the Presbyterian Hall on Tuesday 3rd April.

The demonstrator was Roberta Orr. Her title was ‘Memories are made of this’ and her arrangements were full of Spring Flowers which could have added beauty to any home.

The competition for the Alice Duff Trophy was won by Mrs Doris Elliott. The title was “Easter is coming”.

A donation was sent to the Guide Dogs for the Blind from the proceeds from our open evening.

On May 8th the Annual General Meeting and lunch was held in Desetcreat WI Hall. Thanks to all the WI members for the delicious meal enjoyed by everyone.

Our society will meet again on Tuesday 11th September and all new members will be welcome.
