What is your job in Sperrinview?

I am the Principal of Sperrinview School.

My job is to make sure that all of the pupils and all of the staff are working and learning together and doing the very best that they can.

Is it a hard job?

It can be hard at times, but I really love it.

How long have you been working in Sperrinview?

I have worked in Sperrinview for 15 years – I was the Vice Principal before I became Principal.

What’s the best thing about Sperrinview?

The pupils and the staff!

What do you do in your spare time?

I don’t have a lot of spare time, but when I do I swim, read, sing and knit (not all at once though!).

I enjoy knitting toys – I have knitted a whole nativity set, a huge Noah’s Ark with all the animals that Pre-School play with and lots of characters from stories.

I sing with my sister Lynne.

She is the Vice Principal of Oakwood School in Belfast. She and I made a CD together. We also train a male voice choir and we sing in a cross-community choir.
