Kids will go gaga for big Ivan Little in Sleeping Beauty!

READ all about it: former TV news reporter, Ivan Little, will reveal his feminine side as Lady MaMa - the grand dame - in Sleeping Beauty, this year’s Christmas pantomime at Belfast Waterfront!

He may not have been ‘born this way,’ but big Ivan definitely has what it takes to play the (literally) larger than life Lady MaMa.

Much more than a big girl’s blouse, Ivan aims to bring loads of fun and laughter to the panto stage as he goes all out to make sure the only one wearing a poker face is the Wicked Fairy who has cast her evil spell on the baby princess, dooming her to sleep for a hundred years!

Ivan took time out from trying on his new wardrobe to comment on his new dream role: “I have played hit men and hard men; con men and kings but this is my first time playing a woman. I really am really looking forward to putting on the big wigs and the big bust. The big butt is all my own work however. It`s a hectic schedule but I hope it will be a lot of fun for me and for the audience.”

Following the incredible success of last year’s Aladdin, this year’s pantomime is once again presented by LANA Productions.

Produced by Martin Lynch and Joe Rea, written by PJ O’Reilly and directed by Lisa May, no one will fall asleep during this wide awake pantomime… apart from Sleeping Beauty herself! Performed by a fabulous cast, this magical adventure is packed with gallant goodies and beastly baddies… and there’ll be loads of chances for the audience to join in.

Sleeping Beauty is at Belfast Waterfront from 24 November to 5 January.

Tickets are available online, from the Waterfront and Ulster Hall Box Offices and by calling 028 9033 4455.
