Taking no chances with the weather,a marquee was erected to host over two decades of business at Sanville Private Nursing Home in Coalisland.

Residents chose special guests Malachi Cush and Uncle Hugo Duncan to provide musical entertainment.

Both performers honoured individual song and dance requests, and endeared themselves to the residents.

Residents were then treated to scrumptious delicacies provided by Yellow Door Catering.

In an opening speech, Company Director, Ms Bronwyn Toner, paid tribute to her parents who, 21 years ago, opened the doors of the nursing home with the aim of delivering a high quality of care in the community.

She acknowledged that success over the years was attributable to staff, many of whom have been part of the team since its inception.

Directors, Ms Toner and Ms McAleer, then presented Home Manager, Ms Bernie Mooney, with a bouquet of flowers as a token of appreciation.

Special thanks were extended to Sr Bernadette for her spiritual input and to the home’s never failing gatekeeper, Sean McNally, for his support over the years.

In return, Ms Mooney raised a toast to those who were absent on the occasion, in particular Sanville founder, Mrs Mary Gervin.

Sanville’s 21st birthday celebration was both a joyous and fun filled occasion for everyone involved.
