POETRY enthusiasts will be excited to hear that world renowned, Pulitzer Prize author, Paul Muldoon, will be returning to his roots and holding an event in Dungannon Library on Wednesday, August 29.

During this event, which begins at 7pm, Muldoon will be reading from his works and Dungannon Library staff would like to invite as many people along as possible.

At this evening talk, the audience will enjoy the chance to meet Paul, who is described as a post-modern poet and has received plaudits for his work from a vast array of sources in the literary world, including The Times Literary Supplement, who described him as “the most significant English-language poet born since the Second World War”.

Paul has published over 30 collections and won a Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, as well as the T.S. Eliot Prize.

Muldoon, who was born in Moy, now lives in the US with his wife, the novelist Jean Hanff Korelitz, and their two children, but he has always maintained close ties with his homeland.
