Aughnacloy residents will be able to do their banking every Friday when the Ulster Bank starts its ‘bank on wheels’ service.

From this Friday, 27 February, the facility will be operational in the town centre from 1.30pm to 3pm.

Designed for Personal Banking customers, those using the service will be able to book appointments, make enquiries and carry out full cash transactions. It has wheelchair access and is fully secure.

Stephen Cruise, Head of Branch Banking Northern Ireland with Ulster Bank, said the mobile service had been introduced at the end of last year in a number of locations for a trial period.

Mr Cruise continued: “We are confident that the Bank on Wheels will help ensure that we can meet the banking needs of customers in Aughnacloy, complementing our range of other banking services.”

The ‘Bank on Wheels’ service will complement existing options for Ulster Bank customers, including online, telephone and mobile phone banking.

The bank has also broadened its existing range of services through Post Office branches across Northern Ireland.
