Prestigious award for Dungannon businessman James Conlon

Dungannon’s James Conlon, Managing Director of NIAVAC Audio-Visual, was recognised for his business achievements at the prestigious annual Business Top 50 Awards at the iconic Titanic Belfast visitor attraction.

At the high profile event, that saw leading business leaders recognised, Dungannon business man James was presented with his award as one of Northern Ireland’s prominent business innovators.

The Belfast Business Top 50 Awards celebrate business people in Belfast and beyond for their commitment in driving economic success in Northern Ireland.

James’ business, NIAVAC has experienced strong results in 2015 so far with turnover up 20 per cent over the last two years.

As one of Northern Ireland’s largest AV-based employers with purpose-built £1.7m premises in Belfast, NIAVAC counts many of the biggest blue-chip businesses and public sector organisations in the region as its customers; including Progressive Insurance, Ulster Hospital, Terex Powerscreen, Graham Construction, Titanic Belfast, several government departments as well as education and healthcare organisations.

Managing Director James Conlon, who has over 30 years’ experience in the AV industry, said: “I am delighted to be recognised in the Business Top 50 in 2015 and to be in such great company at this prestigious event. The company has recently enlisted former all-Ireland sports star, Peter Canavan, as brand ambassador who soon will be fronting a campaign to bring touchscreen analytics to schools and sports clubs across Northern Ireland.
