Callous thieves steal Tyrone deceased’s wedding rings

Thieves have left an Aughnacloy family heartbroken after they broke into their home and stole jewellery of great sentimental value including a deceased member’s marriage and engagement rings.

The burglars also made off with televisions from the house in the Tullyvar area on October 21.

Police are also investigating a burglary at service station premises on the Woodlough Road, Dungannon, on October 11th. This time the thieves gained entry by damaging a wall and made off with a quantity of cigarettes.

Inspector Keith Jamieson said he was keen to hear from anyone who noticed anything suspicious in and around the areas on the nights of the burglaries, or from anyone who can help retrieve the stolen property.
