A Coalisland man has been fined and had penalty points endorsed on his licence for driving without insurance and having no vehicle test certificate.
Anthony Campbell, 28, of Glen Park was stopped by police on Glen Road on September 14 last year. Police checks revealed there was no valid policy of insurance in place and the MOT certificate had expired in July.
Checks revealed that his policy of insurance had been cancelled after Mr Campbell failed to provide the company with the appropiate documentation. When cautioned by police for the offences he replied: “Grand, I’m fine with that.” Fines of £515 were imposed and 8 points.
