The 38-year-old who has been accused of witness intimidation in relation to a shooting in Cookstown last weekend has been remanded in custody.

Dominic McGrath from Coalisland appeared before Omagh Magistrates on Saturday.

He was arrested following a series of raids at homes in Mid Ulster, after a 35-year-old man was shot in both legs by masked men at a house in Drumcree on Sunday, June 5.

The Derryowen Place resident is due to appear before Dungannon Magistrates on July 6.
