Police have reported that the teenage boy hit by a car in Cookstown this afternoon, suffered injuries that “were not believed to life threatening”.
He was taken to hospital for treatment after colliding with a red Volkwagen Golf at a pedestrian crossing on Chapel Street.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said officers attended “a one vehicle RTC on Chapel Street, Cookstown, which was reported just after 12.30pm on Friday 28 August”.
“A teenage boy was in a collision with a car and was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening,” they added.
“There was minor traffic disruption while this incident was ongoing.”
