Police appeal after mini-bus goes up in flames in Dungannon car park

Police are appealing for information after being called out to investigate a vehicle fire in the Scotch Street Car Park in Dungannon in the early hours of the morning.

The mini-bus was said to have been extensively damaged after a blaze started on the driver’s seat.

Const. Andy Cooper said: “On Thursday the 5th November at around 1.15am, it was reported that a white Toyota Hiace mini-bus which appeared to be a fire on the driver’s seat.

“The fire was put out by fire services, however as a result the vehicle had been extensively damaged.

“We are currently investigating the circumstances.

“Anyone who can help with enquiries is asked to contact Police on the 101 number, quoting reference number 4351115. Alternatively information about crime can be passed via the independent
