New warning signs at a sharp bend on the Mountjoy Road, Clonoe, have been welcomed by Sinn Fein councillor, Joe O’Neill.

Cllr O’Neill said this stretch of road is known locally as ‘the Devil’s Elbow’.

“After a few road users had complained to myself, I made the call for some signage to be put in place to alert drivers of the dangers when approaching the bend, as some of the oncoming traffic have to go out to the middle of the road to get around this bad bend”, he continued. “I want to also thank Transport NI for all their help on this issue.”
