BAFTA-nominated TV show Don’t Tell the Bride is back for a BRAND NEW series in 2016 - and they want couples from Tyrone who are tying the knot this year!

So if you got engaged over the festive period, Valentines or even got down on one knee on leap day - the show, which is moving to Sky One - is offering grooms an increased budget of £14,000 to plan the big day within three weeks.

The show then follows the groom as he plans the entire wedding from scratch - from venue, to cake and even wedding dress.

Now in the process of casting for the new series which will be broadcast later this year, Don’t Tell the Bride is after couples from Dungannon, Cookstown or even Magherafelt.

Over the shows’ 9 year history, the team has been there for 100 weddings, dealing with the pressure, ups and downs and excitement that come with planning the big day.

Along with tears and tantrums, some of the big days featured on the TV show have taken place as far away as Las Vegas or with brides being treated to a moto show, a ride on an iron elephant - or even getting hitched in a football stadium.

A spokesperson for the series said: “At a time when saving for a wedding is a distant dream for many, Don’t Tell The Bride offers couples the chance to have their wedding THIS YEAR without the stress of saving for it!

“It’s a unique and memorable way for couples to tie the knot in 2016.

“And with it’s exciting new move to SKY ONE comes a brand new wedding budget... Grooms will now have £14,000 to plan their dream wedding.”
