It has been predicted that the parade will draw record crowds both at Belfast Docks and along the Antrim and north Down shorelines.

A Red Arrows fly past preceded the parade followed by an aerial display close to Carrick Castle.

On Saturday night thousands also enjoyed a breathtaking fireworks display on the final night of Belfast Tall Ships.

It has been predicted that the city welcomed even larger crowds on Saturday as the popular festival entered its third day.

The free event, which boasts 50 spectacular vessels from around the world, continued into the night with the hot air balloon and firework display.
