The World Culture Day in Cookstown on Saturday porved a major success.
The brand new event for Cookstown took place at the Burnavon Arts & Cultural Centre on Saturday with a celebration of World Culture Day bringing Burn Road to life in an explosion of colour, music and rhythm.
Music was central to the celebration. There were performances from a Chinese Dragon, from African Drummers and a Dhol Player, as well as an amazing Samba Band.
The Cookstown Folk Club, with their unique Irish, Scottish and Bluegrass programme of tunes and songs, also entertained the crowds.
