The funeral will be held today for Cookstown man Victor Wylie, who lost his life in an accident on Friday.
Hundreds of messages of support and sympathy have flowed in for the vintage tractor enthusiast.
He was killed when the tractor he was driving was in a collision with a blue 4x4 on the Cookstown to Moneymore dual carriageway at around 9.30am.
He was on his way to the Mid Ulster Vintage Vehicle Club’s annual charity tractor rally from Moneymore to Ballyclare.
The funeral will be held today at 2.30pm in Sandholes Presbyterian church.
The family described Victor, as: “A heart of gold, a smiling face, someone special who cannot be replaced.”
A spokesperson for the Mid Ulster Vintage Vehicle Club said their “thoughts, prayers and sympathies are with the Wylie family at this stage and most especially his brothers Elwin, Edwin and David, all of whom are also active Club members.”
Over the years the organisation has raised almost £500k for charity, with this year’s proceeds due to go to Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.
