Clogher Valley Day Care Centre recently hosted a coffee morning for service users and staff to celebrate 10 years since the opening of the Centre.

The Day Centre was originally opened by Mr Jack Johnston a local historian, on the 26th April 2006 and he also attended this special anniversary event.

The purpose built day centre has been a central provider of statutory day care services for older people with assessed needs living in the locality area for the last 26 years; previously the service was located at Station Road, Clogher.

Martin Stevenson, Manager of Clogher Valley Day Care Centre said: “Today is a special day and we are glad to celebrate a decade of service here with the staff and service users. The day centre is very important to so many people and provides a wide range of stimulating and therapeutic activities that help older people to maintain and retain their independence.”
