Armed robbery in Dungannon

DETECTIVES in Dungannon are appealing for information following the report of a robbery at a restaurant in the Northland Row area in the early hours of Monday 17th December.

It was reported that at around 12.30am three males armed with knives and a machete entered the premises and threatened staff members. Money from the till and other personal items were then taken. One member of staff was injured and treated at hospital for suspected broken ribs whilst other staff members were left badly shaken. The males were described as being of stocky build and all wore dark clothing. It is believed the men made off on foot in the direction of Milltown.

Police would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information to contact CID in Dungannon on 0845 600 8000.
