Arrested on arson suspicion

POLICE have arrested a 20-year-old Fintona man on suspicion of arson and motoring offences.

Police spoke to the man at Woodview Crescent in Trillick in the early hours of Wednesday and also arrested him on suspicion of possessing a Class B drug.

And a 31-year-old Fintona man has been arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit and possessing a Class C drug.

He was arrested in Fintona shortly after 2am on Wednesday by policing responding to reports of a car being driven erratically at Main Street. Police are linking the incident to a report of a collision involving one vehicle near the church at Lisdargan Road, Fintona.

He was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
