Aughamullan inquest findings

AN INQUEST into the death of Derrylaughan man, Malachy Devlin has found his death was caused by head injuries sustained following a fall at his parent’s Aughamullan farm.

Mr Devlin, 50, died tragically on May 3, this year, after falling almost 14 feet through a perplex skylight and onto a concrete floor an inquest at the Mays Chamber in Belfast heard.

The deceased had been cleaning the roof of out houses at his parent’s house a short distance from his home when the fall occurred.

He was rushed by ambulance to Craigavon Area Hospital but died from his head injuries the following morning.

Mr Devlin was married with three children and was a popular figure in his local community.
