Augher murder accused appears in Dungannon court

AN AUGHER teenager accused of murdering his father has appeared in East Tyrone Magistrates’ Court via videolink.

Sean Hackett, 18, of Aughadarragh Road, Augher is accused of murdering his father, Aloysius Hackett on January 4th this year.

Mr Hackett was remanded in custody to appear in court again by videolink on Wednesday 20th February.

The court was told that the PPS are awaiting a full file on the case.

Mr Hackett’s solicitor informed the court that he would be consulting with his client over the coming days in Hydebank.
