Bailed on assault charges

A MOY man accused of the assault has appeared in East Tyrone Magistrates’ Court on charges related to an incident on December 10th.

A police offider told the court that he believed he could connect Wilson John Purdy, 48, of Hillside Cresent, Moy to the charges.

The case was adjourned until January 30th 2013.

Purdy was remanded on his own bail of £300, with a series of conditions attached including that he have no contact with the injured party, that the defendant make no appeal to the family court and that he contact his children only through social services.
