Break-ins under investigation

DETECTIVES have made an appeal for witnesses following two burglaries in the Aughnacloy area on Wednesday afternoon.

Thieves broke into a house at Tullyvar Road at around 12.30pm and ransacked two rooms, while a quantity of jewellery was taken from a house at Rehaghy Road after it was broken into sometime before 5pm.

Enquiries are ongoing, however, detectives are investigating a possible link between the two incidents.
