Coalisland/Clonoe Comhaltas
MANY congratulations to all our members who took part in the All-Ireland Fleadh in Cavan a few weeks ago. Its a great honour to compete at such a level and we were honoured to have Coalisland/Clonoe represented in many competitions.
A special congratulations must be given to our own Clar Dorman who went on to achieve 2nd in Comhra, which is a testament to the development of the Irish Language within our locality. A great weekend was had in Cavan by not only our competitors, but also our non-competing members, many of whom went down to add to the buzz of music, song and dance that encompasses every All-Ireland weekend.
With this renewed enthusiasm we at Coalisland/Clonoe are happy to announce that we have an action packed Autumn/Winter programme of events. The first of which will be the re-launch of our successful music classes. We at the branch are glad to say that we have had a thriving music class over the last decade and we endevour to see it go from strength to strength. So young or old, of all levels are welcome to come and join our music classes in fiddle, whistle and guitar which will resume mid-September. For more information please contact Mary@07719451523 after Monday 3rd September.
We have much more to offer our patrons leading into the darker evenings so watch this space in the coming weeks to keep up to date.
Membership for junior, senior and families available from all committee members, why not join us and make Coalisland/Clonoe your branch of Comhaltas
