Denies dangerous driving

A DUNGANNON man has pleaded not guilty to a charge of dangerous driving when he appeared before the town’s Magistrates Court.

John Paul Savage, 23, from Milltown Road, is also accused of failing to stop for police, driving while disqualified, and using a vehicle without insurance.

In addition, he faces charges of failing to stop, failing to remain and failing to report, following a damage only accident.

The charges relate to an alleged incident on May 23 at Derrytresk Road, Coalisland.

Savage’s lawyer told the court his client was contesting all of the charges against him.

The case was adjourned until September 19.
