Don’t Stop the Beat with Moneymore YFC

MONEYMORE Young Farmers Club are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, and what better way to celebrate than to stage a wonderful show at the Burnavon theatre, Cookstown on Saturday 17th November and invite everyone along!

Over the years, the members of Moneymore YFC have thrilled audiences across the Province with their unique blend of music, comedy and drama. For this very special forthcoming performance, past and present members will be involved on stage and back stage as they present a variety concert with a journey back in time, featuring songs and music from across the decades that the YFC have been in existence. There will also be a very special choir, with over fifty club members from the past five decades in fine voice.

There’ll be something for everyone at the concert with music from Irish trad, to light opera, to contemporary pop songs being covered, as well as comedy drama that will have you chuckling long after you leave.

Of course, the Moneymore YFC has local people from all walks of life, not just farming, and nurses, builders, teachers and accountants will be showing a very different side to themselves when on stage. Come along and see if you recognise any familiar faces! It is certainly an evening of light entertainment not to be missed.

The performance starts at 8pm sharp and tickets are £10 (£8 concession). Book tickets at the Burnavon Box Office on the Burn Road, Cookstown, telephone 028 8676 9949 or online at www.burnavon.com.
