Drove with two defective tyres

A COALISLAND woman has been fined by East Tyrone Magistrates Court for having two defective tyres on her car.

Denise Corr, 38, of Collowen, Coalisland was stopped by polce on Chapel Street, Cookstown on 24th October 2012 and after police checked her vehicle they discovered that the two front tyres were almost completely devoid of thread.

District Judge John Meehan imposed a fine of £90 and endorsed Corr’s licence with three penalty points, She was also ordered to pay a further £15 offenders levy.
