Dungannon vet nurse wins Smart Car
LOCAL vet nurse, Una Conway of Parklands vet group, Dungannon, was the lucky winner of a brand new smart car at this years’ annual British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) congress.
The win came courtesy of Hill’s Pet Nutrition and their ‘Drive Nutrition’ competition. Una can’t wait to receive her fantastic prize on 29th October at the Dungannon branch of Parklands veterinary group, where she works.
Una and thousands of other nurses across the UK have worked hard for months to earn points as part of the Drive Nutrition Competition.
Each point equalled one entry, so the higher their score, the greater chance a nurse had of winning. Points could be earned in a whole host of ways, including completing online trivia quizzes, sharing nursing tips and playing online games. Just one entry could have won it, but Una, although not top of the leader board, had a respectable score above 300.
Enjoying what she thought was her only prize – an all-expenses paid trip to the 39th annual BVNA congress in Telford, Una was utterly shocked when her name was announced as the winner of the smart car too. The keys to her new wheels were presented by Blake Hawley, MD of Hill’s Pet Nutrition, UK and Ireland.
