THROUGHOUT the month of February local participants had the opportunity to learn more about environmental art.

Participants came along and discovered how to use willow and recycled materials to create large scale artworks under the guidance of our environmental artist.

Using inspiration from the wildlife and surroundings of An Creagán participants created a willow structure and then covered it with cling film and tissue paper.

This would allow us to illuminate the pieces at a future date.

We will create a display of the final works and invite the public to be creative at our up coming free event The Big Family Picnic on April 1st at An Creagán.

Details about the event can be found through our website, our Facebook page or by calling 028 807 61112.

This programme was funded by National Lottery Funding through the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
