Fivemiletown man admits driving without a licence

A FIVEMILETOWN man has been fined £200 for driving without a licence and failing to display ‘L’ plates.

Patrick Daniel O’Connor, 63 of Spout Road, Fivemiletown pleaded guilty to the charges which relate to on an incident on Spout Road on 8th October.

A defence solictor for Mr O’Connor said that he ‘feels very silly’ about the incident and he fully admits the charges.

District Judge John Meehan, disqulified O’Connor from driving for 6 months and fined him £200. He suspended his licence until it could be produced and also told Mr O’Connor that ‘he must undergo a driving test.’
