OVER 70,000 maps of Lough Neagh are set to be distributed next month after Lough Neagh Partnership (LNP) secured funding from the Northern Ireland Tourist Board (NITB).

The visitor map, which is currently being designed, will promote the local attractions of the lough and its waterways.

Members of LNP are currently working with seven councils to complete the project, including Magherafelt and Cookstown.

The map will not only provide visitors to the Lough Neagh with a valuable source of information but will highlight its key attractions and facilities in and around the area.

The 70,000 copies will be distributed next month in time for peak holiday periods.
