Games provide business opportunities

COOKSTOWN District Council in conjunction with the Northern Ireland Tourist Board invited the local tourism trade to a briefing regarding business opportunities for the World Police and Fire Games 2013.

The event took place on Thursday 25th October at the Burnavon, Cookstown.

Next year (1 – 10 August) Belfast will host the Games and it is anticipated to attract 25,000 visitors, including 10,000 competitors from around 70 countries. The Games will include approximately 66 sports at 41 venues.

The briefing event provided the trade the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the Games and the potential business opportunities.
