Glenarney resurfacing

COOKSTOWN UUP Councillor Samuel A Glasgow MBE who represents the Drum Manor area has welcomed the resurfacing of the Glenarney Road following the installation of a new water mains a number of years ago.

“I raised my concerns about the condition of the road with senior Road Service staff on a number of occasions.

“Following a hard battle they confirmed to me in the Autumn of 2012 the road would be resurfaced before the end of the financial year.“

“The completion of work will be welcomed by all local residents especially the farming community,” he said.

“Our rural roads are vital resource for rural communities. Councillor Glasgow will continue to call for funding to upgrading our entire road network,” he said.
