Hill of the O’Neill work continues
DUNGANNON Council have assured that the work being carried out on the Hill of the O’Neill will still continue despite a query over non-payment to sub-contractors from the Patton Group.
The Acting Chief Executive advised that there is nothing that can be done to support the sub-contractors as the contract for the project was with Patton Group and that the Administrator has made it perfectly clear that the Patton Group are still in business. Therefore there is still sufficient money kept from the Contractor to finish off the project at the Hill. Anticipated timeframe for opening the Hill of the O’Neill to the public is expected to be sometime in January 2013.
